Baaa…Found another one!

“Does he not leave the 99 (sheep)…and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?  And when he finds it…he calls his friends and neighbors together and says ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep’  I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents…”  Luke 15:3-7

 

Heaven was rejoicing last Wednesday when Zinhle was found by Christ.  Last week’s lesson in the Bible Study was on relationship and finding our value in our relationship with Christ.  I also taught a little on the Passover and the blood of the lamb as the saving measure of the Israelites and put 3 pieces of red paper on the chalk board symbolizing the blood around the doorframe (Exodus 12).  Christ is referred to as our Passover lamb and we offered the girls a chance at life through the blood of the lamb.  Zinhle entered in a relationship with Christ and we had her come up and stand under the “blood” as the group of 40 of us tried to compete with the rejoicing in heaven and cheered – oh, I had chills, it was beautiful, Praise the Lord!

 

Many of the girls in the group had prayed the “sinner’s prayer” but were not sure of their salvation and so it was a great opportunity to assure them if they have received Christ as their Savior, they are saved from death J.  It was a great meeting last week!
