What I (Becca) think of Phumlile: Humble. Phumlile just has this spirit of humility about her. She is so precious and so respectful. She has the best smile that is absolutely contagious and her eagerness of seeking after the Lord through His Word encourages me.
Last week I stayed in Nhlangano (about 1 1/2 hours from my house where the girls’ high school is that i go to twice a week). It gave me a chance to visit a few of their homesteads (traditional home in the rural area). There were 3 houses on the property for Phumlile’s dad (and her family), Phumlile’s uncle, and Phumlile’s grandma. Their family was precious. We went and fetched water and i carred it back in a bucket on my head and the family all lauged at me because the younger ones in elementary school carried bigger buckets on their head than i could carry.
