I’m back in California! My love language – the way i receive love – is definitely through physical touch so it is so great to hug my family.

I love my family, here’s me and my sister, Rachel, right after we got in the car at LAX.

1. I want to take a minute and boast in the Lord and His favor on my trip.  I get on the flight from Johannesburg and i start noticing the plane is about to take off and guess what…THERE’S NO ONE SITTING NEXT TO ME!!  HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! This is like gold on an international flight so i fell over on the seat next to me before the plane even took off πŸ™‚

2.  On the flight from Atlanta to LAX, when the flight attendant asked me what i wanted to drink, of course i replied “Sprite Zero” and he had never heard of that drink before so when the other flight attendant showed him what i meant he gave me the whole can, you know usually they put so much ice in the little cup they give you that the liquid is only a sip.

3. The pilot came over the intercom to tell us we were about to start our descent.  Then he came back on and said “The Southern California air traffic control would like to say ‘Miss Becca Christian, Welcome Home’.  I started giggling.  Amanda, one of my best friends and roommates from BIOLA, her dad works for air traffic control and lines the planes up to fly into LAX, so that message was from him.

4. When i landed in LAX, i went to the baggage claim and no one else’s luggage had come yet, the little carousel hadn’t even started but there was my luggage just sitting there waiting for me, it was awesome!  Nothing was taken or broken from my luggage, that is a huge praise!

Thank you, Lord, you are so good to me!

Guess who was on my plane from Atlanta?  the USC men’s basketball team and Usher, the R&B singer, and his wife.  The paparrazzi were waiting when we got off the plane so you better believe Rachel and I jumped in the background of some of the shots πŸ™‚  I can’t sing and I’m not famous but my mom is seriously my biggest fan.  When she saw me coming down the escalotor to baggage claim she started jumping up and down and waving, she was so excited, it was so fun!!

Thanks for your prayers!!  International travel is not for sissies.  I almost dumped all my luggage down an escalator off the trolley i was carrying…

P.S. Yes it is 5:30am California time, i’ve been up since 1:30 from jet lag…
