Lavished in Grace
Eph. 1:7-8. “…in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavised on us”.
lavish in the Greek, “perisseuo”, means to have an abundance, overflow, have enough to spare, to have plenty.
I’ve been studying who I am in Christ and also what I have in Christ. In Christ, the picture to the left is a beautiful picture of the amount of
grace God has for me. When I think, alrite that last sin was the last straw, there’s no way God can still forgive me for that one, i’ve done that one 5 times in the last 24 hours…and God says
the grace I have for you is in abundance, it is overflowing, i have enough to spare…
I mean seriously, it’s like this kid screaming “Do you have enough water for me to have some?” in the same way when i start to beat myself up God would laugh if i said “Do you have enough grace?” His grace is enough.
