Sure stories are nice but most of you want to see pictures.  Here’s some pictures of the last month.  It’s been a lot of preparing for the Studies and I hope to get pictures up of the different groups of girls soon but I didn’t want to have pictures of me studying and praying and organizing which is what I have been doing so here are some other fun things…

I was in 2 weddings last year and i thought last year was the year of weddings but I’ve already attended 2 since I’ve been here in the last month.

Above:  the groomsmen for my friend, Betty’s wedding.  Betty is in my “birthday” blog back in October for a picture of her.  Below The groomsmen and bridesmaids do a choreographed wedding dance down the aisle, it’s so entertaining.  They have to dance up and back down the aisle after the ceremony.

Below: Dennis, a brother in the Lord’s work with Adventures in Missions just married his Swazi bride, Zwakele, on Feb 16th.  It was so fun, there were Swazi and American traditions.  One funny thing was the pastor’s message…”Dennis you could have chosen to marry a man, or an animal, but you chose a woman and we are so happy you did”…we were laughing but the pastor was serious…well I’m glad Dennis chose a woman too.  Zwakele also works with Adventures in Missions.

This little cute thing was staring at me the whole time during the wedding.

So when I was younger I never wanted to be a missionary because missionaries I saw weren’t exactly stylish and of course that was my goal when I was in jr. high and high school. Here are some of the missionaries I get to work with in Swaziland and I just think they are the cutest thing.  We sure know how to get dressed up (L to R: Kristen, Cassie, Me, Lisa, Julie, Gil (Jill), Jacci, and Kriek (“Creek” short for a long South african name).  I love these women like sisters and Lisa has that motherly way about her that’s great when I just need my mom some days 🙂

These were some sheep just walking down the road from my house…i always thought bakersfield was a countryish town but Ezulwini (the town I live in, it means “heaven” in SiSwati) makes Bakersfield look like a metropolis.  I love it here!
