Father, I can’t take this anymore.  If I hear one more story of teenage girls doing ungodly things because their basic needs of food and education aren’t met, I’m gonna lose it.  You say “you work righteousness and justice for the oppressed” (Psalm 103) yet I don’t see it in the case of these girls.  Where is the justice in this.  It is not their fault their parents have died or that their father is in jail or that there is no employment opportunities for their parents. Why aren’t you doing something?  Don’t you care?  You’re daughters are suffering…

Go to the story of when I fed the 5,000 with fish and bread

OK, um, no offense, I’ve read that one a few times

Go to it, it’s my Word to you

The crowd was hungry and the disciples told you to send the crowd away

I had compassion on the crowd, just like I have compassion on my daughters in Swaziland, keep reading…

You replied to them You Give Them Something To Eat

Yes, Becca, stop pushing these girls away, I want you to do something about it, you give them food, you help them with their school feels

Do you know how many teenage girls there are in Swaziland?  No way.  Impossible

You asked the disciples what they had, 5 loaves and 2 fish, and you asked them to bring them to you and then all 5,000 families were fed with food left over.  What do I have?

Remember those greeting cards you have been making, give me them. Give me them and I’ll satisfy the needs of the girls in Swaziland and will have left over.

You are kidding right, what in the world is some material on a piece of card stock going to do for the well being of the girls in Swaziland

What could 5 loaves and 2 fish have done for a crowd of 5,000 families, NOTHING on their own.  It was the fact that they were given to me.  Now, give me those cards you have been making.

Lord, I’m scared.  What if I do what I think you are asking me to do and it fails…I don’t want to give these girls false hope and then lead them into disappointment.
