Steve and Dave, 2 of my pastors from RiverLakes (My home church), came Thursday evening and just left Monday morning. Here’s a picture journal 🙂
My friend, Angel, and I met Steve and Dave at the border and then had dinner at my favorite little restaurant. Yes, we met them at the border, they wanted to find their way from Johannesburg to Swaziland – i thought they were crazy too 🙂
Friday morning we hiked up to Sibebe Rock, the largest granite dome in the world. Okay I know a picture says 1000 words but this picture is lying, i did not have attitude, I promise. I was just trying to see where Dave thought we were on the map. They said follow the yellow arrows up but we only saw 1 yellow arrow at the beginning of the 2 hour hike and never saw another one.
Nice view huh? We went up to the top and prayed over the country – it was awesome.
Okay, so we didnt make it up to Sibebe, we couldn’t find it but we hiked up this rock. It’s called Sina (see-nah) Rock, so the joke was “Well i seen a rock”. To give you an idea how high it is that little “pebble” on the top of the rock in the middle is about the size of a car.
Dave preached a powerful sermon on forgiveness on Sunday. I had several friends from church say they felt like that sermon was just for them. Praise you, Lord.
My 3 Pastors – That’s my Pastor here in Swaziland, Pastor Caiphus.
Sunday evening, i invited a few friends over to meet Steve and Dave and it turned out we had about 30 people and some friends came and played the drums and led us in an awesome worship time.
They were only here for 3 1/2 days but it was so great to have them. My favorite times with them were having talks over breakfast but of course there are no pictures of that.
